We regret to inform you that our NHS mail was hacked yesterday after surgery closing from 18.00 onwards. Many emails were sent out asking for Microsoft passwords and links to investment websites. Be aware that these emails are not from the surgery, and you are advised not to open them.
We are resolving this problem with NHS cyber security today. Rest assured that national applications like NHSmail and Spine keep your patient information confidential by encrypting the communication between the application and end user device.
We should be back up and running soon. If you have any questions you can always contact us directly at the surgery but any email received yesterday or today should be treated with caution and deleted.
We hope that you will find our website useful in providing all the information you need about the surgery. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
